Computer Information Systems (CIS) provides the following Application Services to the Drake community:
- Support for: Banner (DUSIS, MyDUSIS) | blueView Portal | Blackboard | AdAstra Room & Event Scheduling
- Enhancement or modification to an existing software application
- Upgrades to existing applications including the underlying database technologies used by those applications
- Integration of new applications, whether enterprise or department specific, to existing enterprise applications. Includes integration for applications that are hosted outside of the Drake network as cloud applications or Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Application consulting for any department wishing to purchase application software and needing assistance in requirements gathering, RFP creation and evaluation, determining whether or not it can be integrated to enterprise application software, hardware requirements, hosting and network requirements
- Vendor selection, budgeting and implementation of newly purchased enterprise applications
- Development of new applications where 3rd party vendor applications are not feasible and personnel with appropriate skill set and bandwidth to develop and maintain the application exist
- Access to enterprise application data for reporting
- Application administration including security administration, support and maintenance.
