OIT and Client Services want to make sure everyone is aware of a few updates to Blackboard 8 and 9 systems.
- In Spring 2013, Blackboard 9 system will be the main Blackboard system on campus
- On the morning (in between 8:00 or 9:00 am) of January 4, 2013, the direct links to the Blackboard systems will be updates as follows. There will be No Change if you access Blackboard from within blueView. The blueView Splash page from within blueView will remain until Blackboard 8 is no longer available on May 31, 2013.
- The URL https://bb.drake.edu> points to Blackboard 9 system
- For Spring 2013 semester only, the URL https://bb9.drake.edu will redirect to https://bb.drake.edu (Blackboard 9)
- The URL https://bb8.drake.edu > points to Blackboard 8 system
- The URL https://bb.drake.edu> points to Blackboard 9 system
- All Summer 2013 courses will only be created inside Blackboard 9 system
