The Drake community aspires to adopt technology resources that are easy to use, that are accessible, and which foster our collective efforts to work smarter, explore new ideas and adapt to a changing world by adding value to the teaching, learning, communication, productivity and research activities of students, faculty and staff.

A Vision Sketch was created to capture the values that define the Drake environment, the awareness of external forces that currently impact Drake, and the guiding principles that can focus action. This approach was used in recognition that technology is so pervasive that any strategic action must be based on the realization the technology’s value is individually determined and constantly shifting; and that whole of Drake University is the sum of diverse of needs and expectations.
