Access to Drake technology resources such as the Drake wireless and wired networks, Active Directory, DUSIS, blueView, Cowles Library services and selected computer labs, is provided via your Drake ID; a username and password is issued to all students, faculty and staff upon admission application acceptance or employment. You will be notified as to your Drake ID and password by the Admissions office, Human Resources, or your hiring college or school.
Upon receipt of your Drake ID and password, you must go to the Drake Password Gateway and change your password before you will be able to log-in to any of Drake’s technology resources.
Once your Drake ID has been created, you will be provided a drake.edu email account if you are an enrolled student or employee.
NOTE: Resetting your password solves most problems and is a good first troubleshooting step if you are unable to login.
- You can reset your own password once you have set your security questions. After changing your password it may be necessary to update devices with the new password.
